KEA CONSERVATION TRUST - The Opportunist Syrah
Just like many things, the Aussies rate their Shiraz game and I’ll admit I’ve imbibed a few pretty tasty ones. However, these days, probably one of the best kept secrets coming out of NZ are our knock-out Syrahs. This is a real Hawke’s Bay beauty….with that ‘signature’ sort of black pepper scent thing going on. there are also a few blackberries making a play, and someone mentioned that soft ripe dusty tannins coat the finish…..whatever that means?
Your purchase of this drop goes towards helping the Kea Conservation Trust to preserve and protect Kea and ensure they have a sustainable future. Kea are the cheeky opportunists of the animal world. The Kea Conservation Trust was set up to assist in conservation of wild kea in New Zealand.
