I’m just re-entering the world of chardonnay after the overblown oaky numbers of the 80’s and 90’s. Year on year since then I think our talented NZ winemakers have got to grips with that slightly clichéd word ‘balance’.

It could just be me.....but what I’m getting here is toasted brioche spread with some vanilla mascarpone, topped with some perfectly ripe slices of Hawke’s Bay nectarines.....just saying!
